                        Words Brainstorm

 Make
                        Watermelon Playdough Recipe:2 1/2 cups of Flour
 1 Tbl. Alum
 1/2 cup Salt
 3Tbl. Vegetable Oil
 2 cups boiling Water
 1 pkg. Watermelon Jello or Koolaide
 Combine
                        flour,alum,and salt. Add oil and boiling water.
 Stir or use hands to mix.
 Add a pack of jello powder or koolaideand
                        mix until done and feels like dough!

                        green rinds and write a number word on

                        seeds on them.

                        fractions using paper watermelons
                        (halves, quarters, thirds...) Watermelon
                        Dice Game For each
                        game: Cutout a large watermelon from
                        cardstock. Cut out 40 watermelon seeds.To play: students play in twos. Each
                        student gets 20 watermelon seeds and one
                        die. Students take turns rolling the die.
                        First to get all their seeds on the
                        watermelon wins!

                                would be easy to create with
                                construction paper too!
